As a voice artist Sam McClymont brings a natural Australian sunshine and warmth to your words.
Sam is a Television Presenter, Host and Singer-Songwriter, who has been entertaining audiences from a young age. Growing up in Grafton, New South Wales, Sam and her two sisters spent much of their spare time travelling around eastern Australia performing in talent quests and honing their craft.
In 2006 ‘The McClymonts’ formed and were signed to Universal Music, with Sam playing the role of bass guitarist and vocalist. The group have since gone on to earn a reputation for being one of the most exciting touring acts and highly decorated artists in Australian Country Music. They have amassed over a quarter of a million album sales, two gold album accreditations and twenty-two chart-topping singles. Their award haul includes fifteen Golden Guitar Awards, two ARIA Awards, an APRA Award, three Country Music Channel Awards and the Global Artist of the Year award from the U.S Country Music Association in 2011. In 2013 Sam, alone, also won an APRA Music Award for the song “Piece Of Me”.
In 2015 Sam launched into TV Presenting, scoring a coveted gig on Nine Network’s Getaway program and she continues to travel the world presenting stories for this ever popular Lifestyle program.
Showing natural talent as a presenter, in 2016 Sam was offered the opportunity to Host a newly revived series of Farmer Wants a Wife (series 9) for the Nine Network.
As an event MC she has hosted Awards Nights and Music Festivals including the Country Music Channel Awards and The Golden Guitar Awards.
Sam’s personal interests include pop culture/entertainment, travel, running, music, beauty & family. She has, in recent years, lived overseas in America and Germany and is the proud mum of two gorgeous boys.
Sam is now back in Australia and ready to focus on further opportunities.
