Greta Lee Jackson


Greta Lee Jackson is an Australian comedian who also works in Los Angeles, regularly performing at iconic venues such as The Comedy Store, Flappers and Inside Jokes and appearing on Walk of Shame Shuttle (VH1) and as a true crime expert on Snapped: Killer Couples (Oxygen). She studied improv with both the Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings in the US.

Originally from New Zealand, Greta got her start in comedy by writing, directing and performing in UNSW Med & Law revues. After placing as a state finalist in Raw Comedy 2011 and Green Faces in 2012, Greta has been on the Sydney stand-up comedy circuit in Sydney ever since, selling out both her solo shows, When Whales Attack! at the 2012 Sydney Fringe and Killing It (an entire solo show about true crime) at the 2013 Sydney Comedy Festival.

Greta is one third of the all-female sketch comedy troupe Skit Box, who have achieved over 30 million hits online for several viral videos including the parody music video Activewear (5.4 million views on Youtube). Skit Box’s sketch television series Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am, which Greta co-created, co-wrote and co-directed, screened on ABC2 in 2016. Skit Box have most recently been part of Foxtel’s new comedy series The Slot, which features prominent Australian Youtube stars and comedians, and which will screen on FOX8.

Greta’s other Australian screen credits include In a Woman’s World (ABC2), The Elegant Gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting (ABC) and Crazy Bastards (ABC2).
