Eloise Healey is a Melbourne-based writer who has written for The Secret Daughter (Screentime/Seven Network), The Doctor Blake Mysteries (December Media/ABC) and Home and Away (Seven Network). Eloise won the first Australian Writer’s Guild/ Fremantle Media Australia Neighbours Initiative in 2008. After the initial placement in the story room, she went on to work as a storyliner, story editor, script editor and supervising script editor and wrote over twenty episodes for the show. She also wrote and script edited Winners and Losers for the Seven Network.
In 2013, Eloise’s TV project Dirty Hearts was a semi-finalist in the USA’s Industry Insider TV Pilot Competition. Shortly afterwards she paired with fellow writer Jessica Brookman and together they began developing a slate of TV projects. Four of these projects have been short and long-listed in competitions, including Fremantle Media Australia’s Blue Sky initiative in 2015 and the AWG 2015 Think Inside the Box. Additionally, they received the inaugural Scripted Ink and matched Film Vic investment funding for their project Black Creek which they are developing with Princess Pictures. They have a series optioned by Ruby Entertainment and several in development as co-creators and writers.
